At Maritime Star Group, C.A. (Tax ID J-506608243) we respect the privacy of everyone who visits this website and contacts us. This policy explains what data is processed when you use the site, for what purpose, and what rights you have over it.

What data we process
This site has no user accounts, does not store information in a database, and does not use its own cookies or any analytics or advertising tools.
We only process the data you choose to send us when you request a service or contact us:
- Name and company.
- Vessel name or IMO number, port, estimated time of arrival (ETA) and service required.
- Any additional details you write in your message.
- Your WhatsApp number or email address, which we receive with your message.
How the form works
The "Request a service" form does not send data to a server on this site. When you click "Send via WhatsApp", your browser opens WhatsApp with the message already written, and you decide whether to send it. If you choose "I prefer to send it by email", your email program opens with the message prepared. We only receive the information when you send that message.
Your use of WhatsApp is governed by WhatsApp's (Meta) terms and privacy policy, and your use of email by those of your provider.
How we use your data
- To reply to your request and prepare a quotation.
- To coordinate and provide the agency, vessel and crew services you hire.
- To comply with legal obligations and the procedures required by port, immigration and tax authorities.
We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We only share the information needed to provide the service, for example with port, customs or immigration authorities, terminals, authorized laboratories, hotels or transport providers involved in the operation. We also share it when required by law or by a competent authority.
Third-party services on the site
- Google Fonts: the site loads its typeface from Google servers, which receive your device's IP address to deliver the file.
- Google Maps: the "View on Google Maps" links open Google's site, which has its own privacy policy.
- WhatsApp: the WhatsApp buttons open the WhatsApp app or website.
How long we keep it
We keep your messages and operation data for as long as the business relationship lasts and for the time required by legal, accounting and tax obligations. After that, we delete them.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data, its correction, update or deletion, and object to its use, by writing to Maritime.star.group@gmail.com. These rights are recognized, among others, in articles 28 and 60 of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. If you contact us from another country, you may also exercise the rights granted by the law of your country.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we receive and limit access to the staff who need it to handle your request.

We may update this policy when our services or the site change. The date of the latest update appears at the top of this page.
